Prof. Marcin Kacperczyk
Imperial College London
Marcin Kacperczyk is Professor of Finance at Imperial College London Business School and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy and Research. He is Managing Editor of the Review of Finance and Associate Editor of the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. He is also a former President of the European Finance Association.
His research focuses on climate finance, financial markets, financial intermediation, and asset management, with recent work analyzing the impact of climate change on markets. He has also studied social norms, debt markets, performance evaluation, labor unions, insider trading, inequality, and portfolio choice.
Prof. Douglas Cumming
Stevens Institute of Technology School of Business
Douglas J. Cumming, J.D., Ph.D., CFA is Professor of Finance and the Steven Shulman ’62 Endowed Chair for Business Leadership at the Stevens Institute of Technology School of Business. He previously held the DeSantis Distinguished Professorship of Finance and Entrepreneurship at Florida Atlantic University and was the Ontario Research Chair at the Schulich School of Business, York University.
Professor Cumming’s research covers venture capital, private equity, crowdfunding, hedge funds, entrepreneurship, market misconduct, and law and finance. He has published more than 250 articles in leading academic journals in finance, management, and law and economics, and his work has been cited over 32,000 times. He has also authored 23 books on financial markets and regulatory issues.

All abstracts of papers accepted for the conference will be published in the book of abstracts.
After the conference, authors will be invited to publish their full paper either in the:
- MFC 2025 Conference Proceedings – deadline: November 30, 2025
- MFC 2025 supporting journals – deadline: December 31, 2025
Full papers submitted to the Proceedings of the MFC 2025 Conference Proceedings will be subject to an expedited peer review process, with reviewers being primarily members of the conference committees.
Authors may also choose to submit full papers to the conference's supporting journals, and their submissions will be reviewed according to the journal's review criteria. Please note that acceptance of a paper to the conference does not guarantee publication and that only a limited number of outstanding papers will be published by the journals.
