Editors’ Fast Track

Editors’ Fast Track is a dedicated in-person conference session designed to connect authors of high-quality papers with journal editors. Selected authors will present their work in a standard 15-minute format, followed by direct, in-person feedback from an editorial panel and audience discussion.

To be considered, authors should indicate their interest at the time of submission by selecting the Editors’ Fast Track option. The Program Committee will then review all nominated papers and invite a limited number to participate in this special session.

During the conference, the chosen authors will present their work in front of editors, who will provide immediate editorial feedback and suggestions for improvement, followed by a short Q&A. This structure allows authors to gain insights from experienced editors and sharpen their manuscripts in real time.

After the conference, participating papers may also be invited to a fast-tracked review process with partnering journals. This provides authors with a valuable publication opportunity that goes beyond the regular conference experience.

In summary, the process is simple:

  1. Nominate your paper for Editors’ Fast Track when submitting to the conference.
  2. The Scientific Program Committee reviews nominations and selects the papers to be included.
  3. Present your work in a 15-minute slot to editors and the audience during the conference.
  4. Receive feedback, and possibly a fast-track review invitation from a partnering journal.
