  • MFC 2027 supporting journals – deadline: December 31, 2027

Full papers submitted to the Proceedings of the MFC 2027 Conference Proceedings will be subject to an expedited peer review process, with reviewers being primarily members of the conference committees.

Authors may also choose to submit full papers to the conference's supporting journals, and their submissions will be reviewed according to the journal's review criteria. Please note that acceptance of a paper to the conference does not guarantee publication and that only a limited number of outstanding papers will be published by the journals.

Editor Sessions

The conference will feature two dedicated events with journal editors: a general Meet the Editors session and the more selective Editors’ Fast Track session.

Meet the Editors

Meet the Editors is an open, in-person session designed for all conference participants who would like to learn more about publishing in academic journals. Editors of finance journals will join the session to answer questions from authors, discuss the publication process, and share practical advice on how to develop, position, and submit manuscripts. Participants are encouraged to ask questions about journal fit, editorial expectations, the review process, and ways to improve their papers before submission.

Editors’ Fast Track

Editors’ Fast Track is a separate, selective, in-person conference session designed to connect authors of high-quality papers with journal editors. Selected authors will present their work in a standard 15-minute format, followed by direct feedback from an editorial panel and audience discussion.

To be considered for Editors’ Fast Track, authors should indicate their interest at the time of submission by selecting the Editors’ Fast Track option. The Program Committee will then review all nominated papers and invite a limited number to participate in this special session.

During the conference, the chosen authors will present their work in front of editors, who will provide immediate editorial feedback and suggestions for improvement, followed by a short Q&A. This structure allows authors to gain insights from experienced editors and sharpen their manuscripts in real time.

After the conference, participating papers may also be invited to a fast-tracked review process with partnering journals. This provides authors with a valuable publication opportunity that goes beyond the regular conference experience.

In summary, the process is simple:

  1. Nominate your paper for Editors’ Fast Track when submitting to the conference.
  2. The Scientific Program Committee reviews nominations and selects the papers to be included.
  3. Present your work in a 15-minute slot to editors and the audience during the conference.
  4. Receive feedback, and possibly a fast-track review invitation from a partnering journal.
